LOGLINE

The family of the U.S. Ambassador in Bulgaria is brutally slaughtered. A top CIA agent and a local rookie cop are assigned to find out who is responsible for the assault. The deeper they go, the more they realize that the truth is hidden behind a “non-existing” powerful organization, named Black Files, whose members are almost untouchable. Almost.

ABOUT THE BLACK FILES ORGANIZATION

In 1957 the KGB created an agency called "the Black Files". It was assigned operations that the KGB could not perform.

Because of their mandate... It needed non-Russian agents with special skills. Agents with absolute loyalty to the Soviet Union.

They recruited from the Eastern Bloc countries, mainly from the Balkan region.

These recruits became some of the most skilled agents and assassins in the Cold War.
